Rossignolo leads Saints
Churchville-Chili scored two runs in the second and third innings and added one in the fourth on their way to a 5-0 shutout of Greece Olympia in boy's varsity baseball May 4.
Catcher Jeremy Rossignolo led the offense going two-for-two with two RBI's and threw out two base runners trying to steal. Metin Gulac, Dolph Newson and Dan Phillips had the other runs-batted-in for the Saints and Dave Lehman scored twice in the victory which improved the team's record to 10-3.
Continuing a Saints tradition of strong pitching, freshman Lance Davis went the first five innings allowing four hits while striking out four to get the win moving his record to 3-0 for the season.
