cheerleading championship Churchville-Chili Senior Bonnie Simmons won first place in the senior individual category of the Greater Rochester Cheerleading and Dance Championship. Her routine had to include at least four jumps, a cheer and a dance. She choreographed her entire routine, which also included tumbling, gymnastics and dance moves. Simmons has been cheering for Churchville-Chili since her sophomore year. She is currently on the track team and has been participating in gymnastics for fourteen years. This summer, she will be a coach with the Universal Cheerleading Association. In addition, she will also coach gymnastics locally. |
