Sweden Community Center summer programs set

The Town of Sweden Recreation Department will be offering the following new programs this summer at the Sweden Community Center, 4927 Lake Road in Brockport:

•Red Cross Babysitting Classes - Saturday, June 22 - 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Saturday, July 27 - 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Saturday, August 24 - 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Participants must be at least 11 years old by the date of class.

•Open Walking/Jogging - Monday - Friday, 9 to 10 a.m. in June; Monday-Friday - 8 to 9 a.m. beginning July 8.

•Adult Yoga Classes - Monday mornings - 8 to 9 a.m., July 8 to August 26. Wednesday mornings, 8 to 9 a.m., July 10 to August 28.

•Dog Days of Summer Program -Monday - Friday, noon to 3 p.m. August 5 through August 30. Kids ages 9-12 will participate in recreational activities both indoors and out. There is a limit of 40 participants in this program.
