AREA

•Smith, Viola M., 88 formerly of Westbury Road, Red Creek, New York, died May 19, 2002 in the Heritage Village Health Center, Gerry, New York.

Mrs. Smith was born in Adams, New York on July 30, 1913, the daughter of the late Manford and Mary Jane Richardson Kellar. She left Red Creek in 1962 and moved to North Chili, and later, to Lakeland, Florida. In 1984 she moved from Lakeland to Gerry. She was a member of the Gerry Free Methodist Church, former cook at a nursing home in Churchville, and provided home care to area residents in Churchville. Viola also had worked for Bausch & Lomb of Rochester. She was active in nursing home activities and was the organizer of the Heritage Village Reminisce Club.

She is survived by two daughters, Edith (David) Williams of North Chili and Betty York of Bonita Springs, Florida; one son, Raymond (Patricia) Smith of Churchville; nine grandchildren; 10 great grandchild-ren; one sister, Margaret Crocker of Red Creek; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Ray Smith.

A Memorial Service will be held June 1 at 2 p.m. at the Seeley Chapel in the Schawb Building at Heritage Village, Gerry. Burial will be in Butler-Savannah Cemetery, Butler at the convenience of the family. There will be no prior calling hours. Gifts in her memory can be made to the Gerry Free Methodist Church, Gerry, NY 14740.


BROCKPORT

Beaumont, Sr., Paul R., On May 18, 2002 at the age of 89. He is survived by his beloved wife, Shirley; daughter, Nancy (Robert) Doucet; son, Paul Jr. (Kathy); grandchildren, William, Paul Michael, Scot and Tami; three great grandchildren. Paul was a retiree of Eastman Kodak and a Veteran of WWII. A member of Brockport Volunteer Fire Department, Capen Hose Company #4, the Greece Volunteer Ambulance and a life-time member of the Greece Baha'i Community.

Funeral Services were held May 22 at Fowler Funeral Home, Inc., Brockport. Interment, Mt. Albion Cemetery. Donations can be made to the Lakeside Foundation.


•Wagner, David R., May 14, 2002 at the age of 55. He is survived by his beloved wife of 32 years, Rita; his mother, Betty Wagner; brother, Douglas A. Wagner; sister, Nancy M. Wagner; mother-in-law, Gladys Haringx; several nieces, nephews and many dear friends.

A Funeral Service was held May 17 at Fowler Funeral Home Inc., Brockport. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family. Donations can be made to Lifetime Assistance Foundation Inc., or Rural Opportunities Inc., in his memory.


HILTON

•LaDue, Sidney G., May 12, 2002, at age 86 in Zephyrhills, Florida. He is survived by his son, S. Robert LaDue; his sister, Iva Kenyon; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wives, Dorothy, 1986 and Evelyn, 1999.

Funeral Services were held May 20 at the Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, Inc., Hilton. Interment, Garland Cemetery. Contributions can be made to the American Heart Association.


•Mason, Robert A. Sr., May 16, 2002, age 80. Robert is predeceased by his loving wife, Aurelia; son, Robert A. Mason, Jr. He is survived by his children, M. Cathy (Robert) Helmes, Mark Mason, Delphine Macall, Joseph Mason, Rita Streaker, Matthew (Vada) Mason; brother, Richard (Sunny) Mendrick; sisters, Irene Cromborg, Adeline Frisby; grandchildren, Elaina (David) Cosner, Manuel Macall, Joseph Bellamy, Nicholas Streaker, Elizabeth Streaker, Alekzander Mason; great-grandchildren, Joshua and Julia Cosner, Mia and Colin Macall; several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Mass was held May 18 at St. Leo Church, Hilton. Interment will take place privately. Donations can be made to Lollypop Farm.


HOLLEY

•Wilson, Patricia A., 70 of East Avenue, died May 20, 2002 at Lakeside Memorial Hospital in Brockport.

Mrs. Wilson was born March 12, 1932 in Holley, a daughter of Howard Dodd and Jessie (Paduano) Dodd. She had been a lifetime resident of this area. She was a member of St. Mary's Church and the Catholic Daughters; also, she was a member of the Ladies Auxiliaries of both the Holley Fire Department and the Jewell Buckman Post 529 of the American Legion.

Mrs. Wilson was predeceased by her parents. She is survived by her husband, Robert; children, Robert Wilson Jr. of Brockport, Terry (Marla) Wilson of Hamlin, Rebecca (William) Ciluffo of Clarendon and Mary Jo (Donald) Murray of Hinsdale, New York; brother, Howard (Delida) Dodd of New Jersey; 11 grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins and brothers- and sisters-in-law.

A Mass of Christian Burial was said May 23 at St. Mary's R.C. Church. Memorial contributions can be made to either the American Diabetes Association or to the National Kidney Foundation.


PARMA

•Zarpentine, Alonzo H., May 19, 2002 at age 86. He was predeceased by his wife, Edith, 1995. He is survived by his sons, Dale (Wilma), Ronald (Pat) and Paul (Mary) Zarpentine; 16 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Services were held May 23 at the Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, Inc., Hilton. Interment Garland Cemetery. Those wishing can contribute to Spencerport Volunteer Ambulance.


SPENCERPORT

•Chapman, Donald D., Thursday, May 16, 2002 at age 67. He is survived by his ex-wife and best friend Doris; his children Kevin Chapman, Donise Foos and her fiance Bobby Beehler, Donalyn (Bill) Schult; grandchildren Shawn Foos, Shawnalyn and Morgan Schult; brother Arthur (Darlene) Chapman; sister Eileen (George) Osborn; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Iris Elmes.

A Memorial Service was held May 21 at Ogden Presbyterian Church, Spencerport. Contributions can be made to the Oncology Department at Strong Memorial Hospital in his memory.


•Foubister, Andrew W., Tuesday, April 23, 2002, at age 74. Andrew was born in Rochester in 1927 and was a resident of Spencerport. He was a retired Electrician Local #86 I.B.E.W., a Navy Veteran of WWII, a member of The V.F.W. in New York, the American Legion Post #0330 and St. John the Evangelist Church both in Spencerport. He was predeceased by his son, Thomas. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Elizabeth; daughter, Andrea (David) Rossi of New Smyrna Beach, Florida; three sons, William A. (Marie) of Spencerport, James E. of Rochester and Andrew C. (Pam) of Spencerport; sister, Mary Louise Sweeney of Hilton; 12 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Memorial Service was held May 18 at St. John's Church, Spencerport. Burial at St. John's Cemetery. Donations in his memory can be made to the American Cancer Society, 1400 Winton Road North, Rochester, NY 14609.


•Leverenz, Raymond J., May 11, 2002 at the age of 88. Predeceased by his daughter, Arlene D'Andrea. Survived by his wife, Geraldine (Pratt) Leverenz and her six sons; daughter, Norann (Richard) Goodwin; stepchildren, Rev. Richard (Mary) and Russell (Marie) Kesel, Gloria (Robert) Borgyon; brothers, Harold (Marge) and Milton (Dee); sister, Mabel Gray; also grandchildren, great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
