Clean water for Vroom Road residents

Through the efforts of New York State Senator George Maziarz and Ogden Supervisor Gay Lenhard, 78 parcels on Vroom Road are now enjoying fresh clean public water from their taps. Residents there have been dealing with contaminated wells for more than 20 years. The water main has been fully installed by an outside contractor, with some finishing work yet to be done by the Ogden Highway Department.

A Strategic Improvement Grant, in the amount of $250,000 was obtained by Lenhard through Maziarz, and was the key to providing an affordable rate for the Vroom Road homeowners.
