Parma Public Library adds story hours
The Parma Public Library adds three story hours in the month of June. They will be held Mondays, June 3, June 10 and June 17 at 10:15 a.m.
Story hours are open to children two-and-a-half years and older and parents are welcome to accompany their children. The length of each session will depend on the age of the children attending. The purpose for adding these special June story hours is threefold, according to library staff. They will afford an opportunity for two-and-a-half year old children to have a story hour experience; they will acquaint parents first hand with the social and educational value of the story hours and they will also add more story hour dates for those children who are regularly in attendance.
Registration is not required for these sessions, but is appreciated. The Parma Library reminds parents that registration has begun for the regular story hour and Readers' Club Summer Programs for children age three-and-a-half years through sixth grade. Call the library at 392-8350 for information.
