Tiger Cub Scout fun day planned

Boys who are currently completing kindergarten and those now in first grade in the schools of western Monroe County are invited to attend Tiger Fun Day, to be held at the County Canal Park in Greece on Saturday, June 8, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Games, Tiger Cub activities and crafts will be featured, reported Northern Lights District Activities Chairman Geoffrey Malak, the Fun Day director. Hot dogs, chips and soda will be included in the $3.50 event fee.

Parents attending with their sons will be provided an opportunity to sign up their boys in the Tiger Cub Scout program, which will qualify them to attend upcoming Cub Scout programs including the Cub Scout Adventure Camp at the J. Warren Cutler Scout Reservation this summer, stated District Director Richard Marsden.

Northern Lights District serves youth in all the Monroe County towns west of the Genesee and the Charlotte area of Rochester.
