C-C voters approve school budget

On May 21, Churchville-Chili residents voted in favor of the district's $50,964,764 budget by a margin of 77 votes. The vote tally was 750 for and 673 against.

The bus proposition authorizing the district to purchase four school buses was also approved by a vote of 803 to 587.

Residents elected three board candidates to three-year terms. Newcomer Kevin Naughton received 1,072 votes. Incumbents Thomas Smithgall and Ramon Ferris received 1,011 and 994 votes, respectively.
