Hamlin Fire Department celebrates 75th anniversary

The Hamlin Fire Department marked their 75th anniversary during the town's Wheel Fest celebration June 1 with a grand parade through the hamlet. Vintage fire fighting equipment such as this 1932 pumper 55 took center stage along with the department's state of the art vehicles. Driving the truck is Dave Rockow, with Paul Seifert on his right in the passenger seat. Norm Baase and Bill Kirchgessner ride on the back of the truck. The Hamlin Fire Department Exempts hope to restore the truck with the support of the Hamlin community.
