Spencerport Fire Department
hosts annual Carnival fundraiser
The Spencerport Fire Department welcomes Great American Midways to town for the annual Firemen's Carnival. This year's activities kick off on Wednesday, June 12 at 7 p.m. with the Kiddie Parade, followed by the Grand Parade on Thursday, June 13. The whistle blows at 7 o'clock with the Spencerport firefighters leading the procession.
On Friday night, June 14, celebrate Mardi Gras, Spencerport style with a live blues band which will be kicking it up from 8 p.m. to midnight and everyone gets Mardi Gras beads (while supplies last).
Saturday from noon to five, Pay One Price and ride the rides all afternoon - five hours of unlimited fun for just $12, or take two dollars off with coupons available all around town and in the Suburban News. The festivities wind down at midnight Saturday, June 15. The men and women of the Spencerport Fire Department say they appreciate the support and understanding of the community during this big event. "While there may be some inconveniences associated with the carnival, we strive to make this a fun, safe and community minded event. The Fire Department depends on the money raised to operate and are grateful to all who attend," say department members.
