Award presented Hilton High School senior John Ayers received the Monroe County Council of Superintendent's Outstanding Senior Award May 23 at Cooper Hall on the campus of SUNY Brockport. Hilton Superintendent of Schools John Cooper, right, selected John for the award. John has received an appointment to the U.S. Air Force Academy from Congressman John LaFalce and has accepted a place in the U.S. Air Force Academy. He will attend the Academy with plans to become a pilot. John's accomplishments include participation in the American Legion Boys State and Boys Nation where he met President George W. Bush last year; the Hilton Model United Nations Club; National Honor Society; Hilton Varsity Football; Stage Crew; and Outdoor Track. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Steven Ayers of Hilton |
