first annual Crystal Apple Award Monroe 2-Orleans BOCES has named Kathy Kelly, graphic artist, as the recipient of the first annual Crystal Apple Award. The award recognizes individual contributions to the BOCES 2 mission, vision or strategic goals for quality, cost effectiveness and customer satisfaction. "Everything that Kathy Kelly designs for our districts is an aesthetic, exceptionally accessible work of art supporting our district's educational goals and mission," said Mary Kay Glazer, who nominated Kelly for the award. "… In addition to her abundant skills and talent, Kathy is always a joy to work with. She is amazingly unflappable in the face of major design changes, unbelievable deadlines and sometimes demanding clients." Kelly, who has been employed at BOCES for 28 years, was recognized at the 19th Annual BOCES 2 Service Anniversary Awards Reception on May 30 at Plantation Party House.
