earn college credit

Holley students got a jump on their careers this year through the Career Education Internship Program (CEIP) at BOCES 2. They spent 108 hours in internships and earned college credit through in-class training on topics such as college preparation, career planning and goal setting. The students presented their final projects, which consisted of a portfolio, written report and ten-minute presentation on what they learned through their internship positions. Teachers and counselors from area school districts judged the presentations.

The CEIP gives high school juniors and seniors an opportunity working with mentors in up to four career areas while attending school.
