Spencerport Rangers volunteer

Spencerport's spring athletic teams participated in a volunteer community service/charity project during the 2001-02 school year.

This spring, the Rangers varsity athletic teams have performed a variety of projects:

Baseball - assisted with the American Red Cross Blood Drive at the High School.

Softball - donated $200 to Camp Li-Le-Lo (in memory of Tom Zona); donated $150 to ACS; provided a free softball clinic for Ogden Recreation.

Boys Tennis - Food drive and donation to Spencerport Food Shelf.

Boys Track & Field - Helped Rotary Club with annual Ziti Dinner.

Girls Track & Field - Helped Rotary Club with annual Ziti dinner.

Golf - Assisted Spencerport Sports Booster Club with Toy Show and Auction on April 6.

Girls Lacrosse - Assisted in the Strong Children's Hospital Walk on June 1; helped with the lemonade stand and ball jump for children.
