Holley students create 'Quarter Mile Miracle'
Holley fourth-grader Taylor Krist and fifth-grader Ryan Wolfe count some of the 200 quarters they collected for the Quarter Mile Miracle to benefit the Golisano Children's Hospital at Strong. The Holley Elementary School Student Council and Holley Middle School Chapter of the National Junior Honor Society worked together to collect over 600 quarters by placing jars around school and the community. One hundred percent of the money raised through this event goes to the Golisano Children's Hospital to assist in providing medical care to thousands of sick and injured children from the 17-county Finger Lakes region who are treated there every year.
