Flesch, Robert J., on Sunday, July 7, 2002. He is survived by his mother, Shirley Hawkins; sisters, Sharon (Joe) Skuitski and Diane (Stephen) Hopkins; brothers, Lawrence (Laurie), William (Lorraine), Richard (Ann) and Thomas (April); many aunts and uncles; nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service was held July 10 at Fowler Funeral Home, Inc., Brockport.Guzzetta, Ruth C., Sunday, June 30, 2002 at her home. Predeceased by her husband, Charles Guzzetta and a daughter Gloria Gagne. Mother of Donna Curran of Holley, Yvonne (Richard) Brenner of Kent. Also survived by four grandchildren, Janine (Scott) Parker of Barre, Mary Jo (Joanne Fournier) Brenner of Rochester, Carla (Matthew) Olles of Albion and R.J. (Erica) Brenner of Niagara Falls; several great grandchildren; and several great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Hazel Holland of Brockport.
A Memorial Mass will be said at St. Mary's RC Church in Holley on Saturday, July 27 at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Holley at the convenience of the family. Memorials to the charity of one's choice.
Hutchings, Robert E., Suddenly on Wednesday, July 3, 2002. He is survived by his parents, Robert A. and Rosemary; three sisters, Theresa (Chris) Neidert, Private Jessica Hutchings and Molly Barcomb; three brothers, Benjamin and Paul Hutchings and Steve Barcomb; his maternal grandparents, Pete and Peg Barcomb; his niece, Landry Neidert; several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Kuster, Beth Anne (Wich), on July 8, 2002 at the age of 42. Predeceased by her father, Richard Wich. She is survived by her beloved husband, Michael Kuster; daughters, Aimee and Megan; mother Shirley Wich; brothers, Bruce (Julie Mahan) and Blair (Dee) Wich; brother-in-law, Robert Kuster; several nieces, nephews; and her close friend, Binford.
Funeral Services were held July 11 at the First Baptist Church, Brockport. Interment Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Elmira, New York. Contributions may be made to First Baptist Church of Brockport in her memory.
Maw, Dorothy, age 92, at Good Samaritan Village in Kissimmee, Florida. Predeceased by her husband, C. Howard Maw in 1999. They were married for 69 years and resided at the corner of Sweden-Walker and Lawrence Road for many years before retiring to Florida. She is survived by two nieces and one nephew.
Lowden, Allen H., Sunday, July 7, 2002. He was predeceased by his daughter Mary Ann and his brother, Homer "Jack" Lowden. He is survived by his wife of 48 years Lucille C. Lowden; son Robert (Rosemary) Lowden of Farmington; daughter Debra (Jeff) Benedict of Churchville; four grandchildren Maria Ann Lowden, Mattie, Emily and Andrew Benedict; his brother John (Jean) Lowden of Greece; nieces, nephews and cousins. He was a retiree of the Village of Churchville and was a member of Harvey C. Noone American Legion Post #954.
A Memorial Service was held July 12 at Churchville United Methodist Church, Churchville. Contributions may be made to Visiting Nurse Service Hospice or to the Memorial Fund of Churchville United Methodist Church in his memory.
Sage, Burton H. Sr. "Red," Monday, July 8, 2002 at age 97. He was predeceased by his wife of 70 years, Florence "Zim," Sage. He is survived by two sons, Vernon (Linda) Sage of Canandaigua and Burton (Karen) Sage Jr. of California; three daughters, Sandra S. Willson of Churchville, Sonya Sage of Rochester and Brenda (John) Frank of Honeoye; eight grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
He was a lifelong resident of Churchville, a former Mayor of Churchville and was a member of Churchville Lodge #667 F. & A.M. for over 50 years.
Funeral Services were held July 13 at Union Congregational UCC, Churchville. Contributions can be made to the Churchville Volunteer Fire Department in his memory.
Suter, Frances Jeanine (Lonsbury), Wednesday, July 3, 2002 at age 36. She is survived by her husband, John H. Suter; her parents Kenneth and Mary (Burgio) Lonsbury; sister, Helen Muffler; brothers, Kenneth Lonsbury II and Darren Plunkett; paternal grandmother, Helen North; godson Andrew Carapella; goddaughter, Maria Plunkett; godparents Nina and Elio Iannelo; several aunts and uncles including great uncle Charlie; father and mother-in-law, Don and Eleanor Suter; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jim and Peggy Suter, Kathy and Tom Stephany, Nancy and Pete Zambuto; three nephews, Peter and David Zambuto, Jamie Suter; two nieces, Michelle Zambuto and Melissa Suter.
A Funeral Mass was said July 8 at St. Jude's Church. Interment Creekside Cemetery, Churchville.
HAMLIN
Versluis, Edna Mae, On July 1, 2002 at the age of 73. She is predeceased by her husband, Eugene and son, John. Survived by her children, Ryan (Lorene), Christine Stocks, Michael and Jeannie Richardson; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.

Allen, Walter J. Jr., July 6, 2002. Predeceased by his wife, Monica Allen. Survived by his wife, Gloria; children and their spouses, James (Linda) Allen, Karen (Jim) McCoy, Donald Allen, Nancy (Henry) Fiorino, Thomas (Sandy) Allen, Elaine Post, William (Kathy) Beaney and Paul Beaney; brother, Gerald (Susan) Allen; sister, Patricia Stott; fourteen grandchildren; one great-grandson; several nieces and nephews.

Buell, Virginia W., July 3, 2002, age 91, in Amherst, New York. A native of Spencerport, New York and a former Hilton resident. Predeceased by her husband, Charles K. Buell, Jr., 1998. She is survived by her sons, John (Carole) Buell of Amherst and Ronald (Ann) Buell of Texas; four grandchildren; five great grandchildren. She was the daughter of the late John and Florence (Merz) Walker.
Interment, Parma Union Cemetery, Hilton at the convenience of the family.
Bush, Thomas J. "Posi," Suddenly, July 3, 2002, at age 49. Predeceased by his mother, Dorothy Bush. Thomas is survived by his father, Thomas (Marie) Bush; brother, Ronald (Karin); sister, Laurie (Michael) Mott of Springwater; several nieces and nephews.

Kuhn, Alma C. (Toates), July 3, 2002 surrounded by her loving family. She was predeceased by her husband, Richard L. Kuhn, 2001. She is survived by her daughters, Nancy E. Kuhn (William White) and Donna J. (William) Smith; two granddaughters, Ingrid (Phak-ham) Sangasy and Lindsay Smith; nieces, nephews and many devoted friends. She was also predeceased by her parents George and Carrie (Zarpentine) Toates and her brother, Graydon Toates.

Murphy, Harold, formerly of Hilton, age 77. Beloved husband of Nancy (Beasley) Murphy of Hilton and the late Jane Griffiths. Loving father of Thomas of Geneseo, Daniel of Syracuse and Jon Murphy of Dexter, New York. Brother of Albert (Bettie) Murphy of North Carolina, Eva Gray of Arizona and the late George Murphy; four grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and sister-in-law, Evelyn Murphy of Arizona survive. He was a former elementary school teacher for West Irondequoit for many years and also a Navy Veteran of WWII.

Strassner, Alfred G., July 1, 2002, at age 72. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Naomi (Kanous) Strassner; his children, Deborah (Daniel) Dykstra, Gary (Patty) Strassner, Marla (Mark) O'Brien, Dale (Debra) Strassner, Valerie (Barry) Brimer, Quintin Strassner and Melissa (Harold) Van Skiver; his brothers, David (Louise) and Jerry (Pat) Strassner, Charles and Robert Mittermeier; his sisters, Jean Phillips, Carol (Boyd) Miller, Christine (Donald) Dengel; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Russell and Ida Webster; 23 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and close friends. He was predeceased by his brothers, Harvey, Howard, Jack and Cornelius Jr. Strassner.

Freida, Sue E., Age 53, formerly of Holley, died July 1, 2002 in Anniston, Alabama. Survived by husband, Donald; children, Rani (Michael) Schonert of Delaware, Robert (Brenda) Freida of Brockport and Donald (Mandy) Freida of Florida; mother Julia A. Kemp of Brockport; sisters, Jane MacBride and Gloria Cusse, both of Rochester, Marylea (Ken) Lotzow of Hulberton and Judy (Arnie) Rothstein of Albany; brothers, Richard (Lucille) Kemp of Clarendon, William (Pat) Kemp, Kenneth Kemp and John (Bev) Kemp, all of Rochester; nine grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Predeceased by her sister, Sally.

He is survived by his wife, Georgiana (DeRoller) Wehner; his children, Laurie (Greg) Elliott, Steve (Lisa) Wehner, Kevin (Sandy) Wehner, Karen (Mike) Lally; step-daughter, Sandra Butler; his mother, Vada Wehner; sister, Ann (Leo) Jamelkowski; brother, David (Nancy) Wehner; five grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

DeVries, Jan, age 81, of Houston, Texas, formerly of Spencerport, June 22, 2002. He was predeceased by his son, Hermann (Mancie) DeVries. Survived by his wife of 57 years, Maggie; daughter, Monica Maldonado and her husband, Vilsen; seven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and family in Holland. He was a retiree of Eastman Kodak Company.

Nicotera, Anna, Monday, July 8, 2002 at age 80. She was predeceased by her husband, Gaetano Nicotera. She is survived by her son, Raffaele (Pierina) Nicotera of Spencerport and her daughter, Giuseppina (Salvatore) Valle of Greece; seven grandchildren, Anna, Santa, Nina, Sandro, Gaetano, Gino and Tina; seven great grandchil-dren; three sisters in Australia; two brothers in Italy; sev-eral nieces and nephews.

Smith, William "Todd," Monday, July 8, 2002 at age 38. He is survived by his daughter, Molly Rose Smith of Bergen; his mother, Lucille R. Smith of Spencerport; his father William K. Smith of Florida; his brother Timothy (Heather) Smith; three sisters, Sherri Bernier, Luann (Mark) Bowman and Lori A. Smith; nieces Jennifer and Danielle Bernier, Tatyana and Adriana Heitz; nephew Todd Alexander Smith; his great nephew Anthony John Antinou; aunts, uncles, cousins and many dear friends. He was a graduate of Aquinas Institute and was involved in local hockey organizations in his youth.
