Chili Fire Department
has new members

New members of the Chili Fire Department graduated recently from Monroe County's Firefighter 200 Class. Shown above, l to r, Battalion Chief Dave Saur, Battalion Chief Clay Wight, Fire Fighter Ralph Harmon, Fire Fighter Kevin Higgins, Fire Fighter Jeremy Runion, Deputy Chief Pat Quinn. New firefighters are required to complete basic training, which is offered by Monroe County. This class teaches basic skills and New York state mandatory training. The firefighters then return to the Chili Fire Department ready for service and to continue ongoing levels of training. Training in many areas continues throughout the years. Their commitment helps provide the town of Chili with the best levels of emergency services available, according to Chili Fire Department representatives.
