Equipment purchase will help Greece company create jobs

Monroe County has approved a GreatRebate incentive for Performance Technologies, Inc. in the Town of Greece. The GreatRebate program will assist Performance Technologies in the purchase of a surface mount machine, which will help the company expand its operations and create a projected 10 new jobs.

Under the GreatRebate program, applicants can qualify for a $4,000 rebate for equipment purchases exceeding $50,000 if they increase jobs by ten percent over two years. The rebate will be paid at the end of the two-year period, once the required jobs have been created.

Performance Technologies, Inc. is a manufacturer of telecommunications and networking products with 107 employees at its Canal Ponds facility in the Town of Greece.
