Byron-Bergen names 9-12 House Principal
David R. Pescrillo, a native of Niagara Falls, was recently named 9-12 House Principal. He has lived in West Henrietta for the past 20 years. He holds a bachelor's degree in health and physical education from SUNY Buffalo, a master's degree in special education and a certification of advanced study in administration.
Pescrillo began his teaching career in the Niagara Falls school district teaching health education. He taught at Rush Henrietta School District and was a resource room teacher. He spent fourteen years at Industry School, where he was a physical education/health teacher/ administrator working with adjudicated youth. He held the position of director of health, physical and athletics at East Irondequoit Central Schools. While at East Irondequoit, he also assumed duties as an assistant principal.
As House Principal of the Byron-Bergen High School, Pescrillo will be responsible for administration, management and supervision of the 9-12 building.
