C-C Jr. High principal appointed
At its July 23 meeting, the Churchville-Chili Board of Education appointed Daniel A. Teplesky Principal of Churchville-Chili Junior High School. His appointment was effective August 5.
Teplesky comes to Churchville-Chili Central School District with a long list of credentials. His experience includes teaching and administration in both public and parochial schools. Teplesky began his career in the education field in 1973 as an instrumental music teacher at Cheektowaga Central Junior/Senior High School. As Junior/Senior High School Associate Principal for Niagara Catholic High School, his responsibilities included teaching business law and introduction to business occupation, as well as balancing administrative responsibilities such as teacher recruitment, observations and evaluations. His administrative efforts also included management of a fiscal budget of $1.25 million dollars, and overseeing the school's discipline policies and procedures, including discipline referrals and hearings.
Most recently, Teplesky was employed as assistant principal at Royalton-Hartland Central Junior/Senior High School.
