Immunization clinics scheduled

The Monroe County Health Department has scheduled several immunization clinics to assure that children have received all of the shots required for school entry in September. Shot clinics will be held at the Monroe County Health Department, 111 Westfall Road, on the following dates: Wednesday, August 21 - noon to 7 p.m.; Wednesday, August 28 - 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Tuesday, September 3 - 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Wednesday, September 4 - 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Thursday, September 5 - 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

All shots - except the meningitis vaccine - are free for children through age 19. The cost of the meningitis vaccine - for college-bound students - is $80. A parent or legal guardian must accompany the child. Shot records and health insurance cards must be brought to the clinic. Call 274-6151 for information.
