C-C Sports Boosters plan back to school picnic
Churchville-Chili Sports Booster Club welcomes athletes, coaches, their families and fans back to school with a picnic Monday, August 26, at the East-West Lodge in Churchville Park.
The annual picnic offers an opportunity to join the sports booster club, volunteer to get involved in club activities or just say hello to friends from last year's teams. It is free to all district athletes and their guests. Dinner begins at 6 p.m.
The Sports Booster Club recently launched a campaign to sell bricks to line a pathway leading to a future concessions stand/media box near the stadium complex presently under construction behind Fairbanks Road School. Bricks will be personalized and become a memorial of support for the sports program from its many participants and supporters. Proceeds from brick sales will help finance the building of the concessions stand.
