Nominations sought for 17th annual ATHENA® award

Nominations are being accepted for the 17th Annual ATHENA Award, to be presented by the Women's Council of the Greater Rochester Metro Chamber of Commerce at a luncheon January 16, 2003. The deadline for nomination submissions is noon, Friday, October 18. Nomination forms can be obtained by calling the Rochester Chamber at (585) 263-3692.

The prestigious ATHENA program recognizes professional women who have made significant achievements in the Rochester business community.

A committee of business and community leaders select the ATHENA recipient. Nominees are evaluated on business and professional accomplishments, community service and support for other professional women. Nominees are honored at the ATHENA luncheon, and the recipient is announced.

This year, Women's Council is introducing a nomination form workshop which will help individuals better understand the process of completing the nomination form. The workshop will take place at The Greater Rochester Metro Chamber of Commerce on Thursday, September 5, at 8 a.m.
