Rochester Amateur Radio Club offers license classes
The Rochester Amateur Radio Association will offer an Amateur (Ham) Radio Course that will teach about Ham radio and enable participants to receive an entry level Ham Radio license. Geared towards youth, but open to all, it will be given at the Monroe County Office Building, 111 Westfall Road, Rochester. The first class will begin Monday, September 9, at 7 p.m. and classes continue for twelve weeks.
The course will teach beginner radio theory and operating practice. It will also focus on successful completion of the amateur radio license exam.
