BERGEN

Minges, Lillian H., Wednesday, August 21, 2002 at age 86, formerly of Land O' Lakes, Florida. She was predeceased by her husband, William Minges. She is survived by her sister; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews. She was an Army Veteran of WWII and retired from the Army Reserve with the rank of Master Sergeant. She was a 52 year member of William W. Doud American Legion Post #98, a charter member of Women in Military Service for American Memorial Foundation and was a retiree of Bausch & Lomb Company.

Funeral Services were held August 26 at Walker Brothers Company Funeral Home Inc., Churchville. Interment St. Vincent DePaul Cemetery. Contributions can be made to the William W. Doud American Legion Post #98, P.O. Box 24679, Rochester, NY 14624 in her memory.


CHILI

Bonacci, Lawrence F. Jr. (Larry), Wednesday, August 21, 2002 at age 64. Survived by his wife of 41 years, Lorraine; his children, Christopher (Tracey), Pamela of Arizona, Thomas of Arizona; two grandchildren, Gage and Garrett; brother, John (Arlene); sister, Rose (Lou) Benigni; several nieces, nephews, cousins and an aunt.

A Funeral Mass was celebrated August 23 at Holy Ghost Church, 220 Coldwater Road. Interment, Holy Ghost Cemetery. Contributions can be made in his memory to GRHCA/Hospice, 70 Metro Park 14623.


HOLLEY

Van Orden, P. Orren, 88, of White Street, August 22, 2002. Mr. Van Orden was born in the Town of Murray, and was a lifelong resident of Holley. He was the Murray town clerk for 21 years and a partner in the Gordis Hardware Store in Holley for over 30 years, retiring in 1976. Mr. Van Orden was a member of the Holley Rotary Club, where he served as past president. He was also a member of the Holley Community Free Library Board, the Holley Fire Department and a former Cub Scout master. He also enjoyed radio and electronics.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Rhoda (Clement); three sons, Orren, Lynn and Timothy (Sandra) Van Orden; one daughter, Sandra Cona; six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Services at the convenience of the family. Memorial remembrances can be made to the Holley Emergency Squad or the charity of one's choice.


KENDALL

•Oakden, Charles J., August 21, 2002 at age 47. Predeceased by father, Howard Oakden. Survived by his mother, Lorraine; significant other, Jo Root; son, Robert (Melissa) Oakden; daughter, Melissa Johnson; four grandchildren; brothers, Rick Oakden, Donald (Debi) Oakden, Howie Oakden, Gary (Sue) Oakden; sisters, Elena (Tom Rabideau) Oakden, Gail (Ted) Bouk; never to be mother-in-law and sister-in-law, Kathryn and Rhonda Root; several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Charles' life was held August 25. Contributions can be made to Orleans County Public Health Service or American Home Patient in his memory.


NORTH CHILI

Beigel, Marjorie J. (Perkins), Thursday, August 22, 2002 at age 83. She was predeceased August 22, 2001 by her husband of 52 years Richard L. Beigel. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Andy and Marianna Beigel of North Chili; three grandchildren Ginny, Peter and Anna Kate; her brother, Robert Perkins of Syracuse; her sisters, Ruth Carmichael of Tupper Lake, Irene Murphy and Lois Perkins, both of Potsdam; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services were held August 27 at Walker Brothers Company Funeral Home Inc., Spencerport. Contributions can be made to GRHC/Hospice (Inpatient Unit), 70 Metro Park, Rochester, NY 14623 in her memory.


SPENCERPORT

•LaBorie, G. Ralph, Monday, August 26, 2002 at age 86. He was predeceased by his wife of 56 years, Teresa (Coffey) LaBorie. He is survived by his children, Tim (Ann) LaBorie of Philadelphia, Kathryn Klos of Spencerport and Bernie (Lexi) LaBorie of Brighton; his sister Ethel Burns of California; sisters-in-law Regina, Agnes and Marian Coffey; eight grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was a retiree of Eastman Kodak Company.

A Funeral Mass was said August 29 at St. Christopher's Church, North Chili. Interment St. John's Cemetery, Spencerport. Contributions can be made to St. John's School of Spencerport, the Spencerport Lions Club or to the Open Door Mission in his memory.
