SUNY Brockport library has new director

Frank M. Wojcik, Ph.D., has been named director of the Drake Memorial Library at the State University of New York at Brockport, according to Timothy J. Flanagan, provost and vice-president of academic affairs.

Prior to joining SUNY Brockport, Wojcik was the director of information resources at Kenyon College in Gambier Ohio. From 1995 through 1998 he was library systems manager for the Five Colleges of Ohio, where he was instrumental in developing and implementing a merged online library catalog and integrating the libraries with the OhioLINK library network.

Wojcik earned his master's in library science from Queens College of the City University of New York. He also holds a Ph.D. and M.A. in modern European history from SUNY Binghamtom.

Wojcik succeeds Raj Madan who retired following a 37-year career at SUNY Brockport.
