Designation to New York State's Empire Zone will assist Allied in creating jobs and investing in new and existing business in Monroe County, according to company representatives. Benefits include significant income tax credits, real estate credits, sales tax benefits and utilities discounts. This designation is a benefit to tenants looking to locate within Sweden Industrial Center. CSX Corporation's rail system is now operating within Allied's Sweden Industrial Center. CSX delivered the first shipment via rail (above) from Agrilink Foods, Inc., one of Allied's major customers, to Allied's warehouse. The rail system will provide an alternative method of bulk shipping for existing and future clients, and tenants of this facility. The Allied Group is a full service provider of third-party logistics, construction, and real estate services.
