The MOMS Club of Hilton and Parma Free Methodist Church are co-sponsoring the "Friends of the Bakers" benefit dinner and auction. The Baker family of Hilton lost their husband/father in March to a bacterial infection. The surviving mom is 30 years old and has four children under the age of eight.

The benefit will be held at Parma Free Methodist Church, 1021 Parma Hilton Road, (Route 259 at the corner of Burritt Road), on September 21 at 5 p.m. There will be a pasta dinner as well as a silent auction. The auction will feature many items donated by businesses in the community. The auction will end at 7 p.m.; winners need not be present to win.
