Foster parenting seminar in Hamlin

Metrix Marketing is offering a multi-media, informational presentation on becoming a foster parent. Each year hundreds of children need the love and care of people with the ability to nurture and the skills to raise children as responsible citizens - sometimes for just a few days and other times for years. There is a great need for individuals or couples that can provide a safe, caring environment and have the desire to help a child through a difficult time.

Learn about the immensely rewarding job of foster parenting and have a positive effect on the lives of children. The seminar will be presented by Alison Miller, Educational Programs manager with Metrix. Session is free of charge. It is hosted by Hamlin Recreation and will be held at the Hamlin Town Hall on Wednesday, September 25 from 7 to 8 p.m. For more information call 964-7222.
