Girl Scout recruitment/information night in Hilton

The Girl Scouts of Genesee Valley Hillwood Service Unit is holding a Girl Scout Recruitment and Information Night in Hilton on Thursday, September 19 from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Village Community Center, 59 Henry Street, in the Ingham Room on the first floor.

Any girls or adult volunteers interested in joining Girl Scouting are encouraged to attend the Girl Scout Recruitment Night to obtain information on becoming a Girl Scout or Girl Scout leader.

Girls will have the opportunity to meet girls currently involved in Girl Scouting and learn what Girl Scouting is all about. There will also be a display of Girl Scout uniforms and books. The Hillwood Service unit is in need of Girl Scout Troop Leaders at all age levels.

Girls Scout Levels are Daisy Girl Scouts - 5 years old or in Kindergarten; Brownie Girl Scouts - 6 to 8 years old or in grades 1-3; Junior Girl Scouts - 9 to 11 years old or in grades 4-6; Cadette Girl Scouts - 12 to 14 years old or in grades 7-9; and Senior Girl Scouts - 15 to 17 years old or in grades 10-12.
