SUNY Brockport's "Mornings with
the Professors" begins September 24
James Fatula, Ph.D., SUNY College at Brockport professor of public administration, will discuss "Medicare and Prescription Drugs: What's the Problem? What's the Solution?" to kickoff SUNY Brockport's fall semester edition of "Mornings with the Professors," Tuesday, September 25, at 9:30 a.m. in the New York Room, Cooper Hall, on the SUNY Brockport campus.
Other topics in the seven-talk series include:
October 1 - The 2002 Election: Context and Predictions, Michael Maggiotto Ph.D., Dean, School of Letters and Sciences;
October 8 - Faculty-in-residence Program at SUNY Brockport: Melissa Brown, Ph.D., assistant professor, psychology and Kathleen Hunter, Ph.D., director, Women's Studies Program and visiting assistant professor of health science;
October 22 - Dance and Somatic Movement, Sondra Fraleigh, director Feldencrai®, professor of dance and registered movement therapist;
October 29 - The Beauty of Physics, Richard V. Mancuso, Ph.D., associate professor, chair, Department of Physics;
November 5 - Stem Cell Research, Stephan Chan, Ph.D., associate professor, Department of Biological Sciences;
November 12 - Leaving a Legacy, Marianne Virgilio, director of development, SUNY Brockport.
All sessions begin on Tuesday's at 9:30 a.m. in the New York Room, Cooper Hall. Pre-registration cost for the "Mornings with the Professors" series is $45. Admission to individual talks is $8.75 if pre-registered or $10 at the door.
