Fundraiser for Hilton native planned

The Willow Inn, 428 Manitou Road, Hilton, hosts a benefit concert in memory of John Petrilli (December 25, 1948-August 17, 2002) on Saturday, September 28 from 1 to 6 p.m. Parking will be available in Fork Park across the street.

Featured band The Bay Six will host the concert with guest bands Split Window and Free Electric. All are Hilton area bands, and proceeds will be donated to the Petrilli family.

Petrilli was a 1967 graduate and was visiting the area from California when he died. A reunion of a local band called The Mercy Beats gathered for a concert at the Willow Inn on the evening of August 16. Petrilli was the drummer for the band which had formed in the 60s. The concert ended with his passing.
