Volunteers invited to
Christmas on the Canal 2002 meeting

A meeting of volunteers interested in working on Spencerport's Christmas on the Canal 2002 will be held Tuesday, September 24 at 7 p.m. at the Village of Spencerport Offices, 27 West Avenue.

Christmas on the Canal is a family oriented one day winter event featuring church choir performances, horse drawn hayrides, a visit from Santa Claus, a living Nativity scene, food and entertainment by school bands, dance studios and area vocal talent.

The festivities conclude with the traditional one mile candlelight caroling stroll led by horse and wagon.

The Christmas on the Canal 2002 event is scheduled for Sunday, December 8, from 2 to 6:30 p.m.

To help make the event happen, attend the September 24 meeting. Volunteers will meet once in October and once in November. For information call Elaine Spaziano at Cranberry's Café, 352-4447.
