Craft classes offered by the Gillam-Grant Center

•Dried Flower Arrangement - Taught by Renee Price of 'Accents by Renee' on Saturday, October 12 from 10:30 to 11:45 a.m. Make a fall arrangement with silk and dried flowers to take home. Materials are provided. Bring a glue gun if you have one. Pre-registration is required. Includes a demonstration - fresh flower arrangement - which will be given away at end of workshop.

•Gourd Rista (a decorative wall hanging workshop) given by Renee Price of 'Accents by Renee' on Saturday, November 2. Pre-registration required. All materials are provided.

•Fresh Holiday Greens Basket with Candle - Gail Culver, Cornell Extension Horticulture Educator, will be teaching this workshop on Tuesday, November 19 from 7 to 9 p.m. All material will be furnished. Deadline for registration is November 1 as supplies need to be ordered. Bring scissors or clippers.

•Faux Finish Painting Seminar - Valerie Liles will demonstrate basic painting techniques (sponge painting, rag rolling, color washing and combing). Materials used at the seminar will be furnished by Sherwin Williams, Batavia, for hands on practice. Saturday, November 2, 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Sherwin Williams will issue a gift certificate.

•Halloween Ceramic Painting Workshop - For ages 6 and older. Take home a painted ceramic Halloween decoration for home or room. Non toxic paints are used. Transportation provided from Byron Bergen Elementary School to Gillam Grant Center - indicate need for transportation when registering. Tuesday, October 15 from 3:45 to 5 p.m. Instructor: Carol Randall, Ceramics Junction, Bergen. Parents pick up children by 5 p.m. at Gillam Grant Center. Adults may also register for this workshop.

•Christmas Ceramic Painting Workshop - Will be held on December 10 from 3:45 to 5 p.m.
