Ogden Farmers' Library opens Parent Resource Center
The Ogden Farmers' Library officially opened its new Parent Resource Center on September 21. The PRC includes a full computer workstation complete with a color printer, scanner, educational software, and Internet access. In addition, the center is equipped with a growing collection of books and magazines designed to assist area parents and caregivers in educating their children. A selection of materials written for parents who home school their children is available along with materials for parents who wish to help their children do well in public and private schools.
Orientations to the PRC will be given at the library upon request. Anne Nolan will give demonstrations of what can be done on the computer and will highlight various books and magazines available in the collection. Call 352-2141 for information.
