Scouts and Chili Recreation plan October events

Chili Boy Scout Troop 292 plans their spooktacular 11th annual Haunted House featuring the ghoul's 'die' ner, spider hallway, gorilla cage and hall of faces on selected dates beginning October 11.

The Haunted House, located at 400 Scottsville-Chili Road, will be open on October 11, 6 to 10 p.m.; October 12, 5 to 10 p.m.; October 18, 6 to 10 p.m. (hayride available); October 19, 5 to 10 p.m. (hayride available); October 20, 5 to 8:30 p.m.; October 24, 6 to 8:30 p.m. (scout discount night); October 25, 6 to 10 p.m.; October 26, 5 to 10 p.m.; October 27, 5 to 8:30 p.m.; October 28, 6 to 8:30 p.m. (scout discount night); October 29, 6 to 8:30 p.m. (scout discount night). Tickets are $4 per person; scouts in uniform admitted for $3 on scout discount nights.

Chilling Chili Hayrides are offered only on Friday, October 18 and Saturday, October 19. (Rain dates for the hayride are October 25 and October 26.) Reservations are needed for the hayride; call the Chili Recreation Department at 889-4680 during normal business hours. The Chilling Chili Hayride Haunted House combo ticket costs $5.50 per person. The cost of just the hayride is $3 per adult and $2 per child.
