CGA offers eight (8) majors: four engineering majors (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, and Naval Architecture & Marine Engineering); Operations Research (Applied Mathematics); Marine & Environmental Sciences; Management; and Government. With a 1:10 faculty to student ratio, the Academy gives personal attention to each student.
A.I.M. Scholarship applications are now being distributed to high school juniors who would like to apply for a one week, first hand experience to cadet life at the Coast Guard Academy in July 2003. A fun filled week of participating in the Academic, Physical Fitness, Boating, Sports and Seamanship of the Coast Guard Academy; a taste of Coast Guard life, is offered. AIMsters are able to meet the coaches of the 18 varsity sports in which the Coast Guard Academy participates. Call 585-392-9776 for information.
