Artistic Director and Choreographer Abdel Salaam's New York City based Forces of Nature Dance Theater Company will be in residence at SUNY Brockport's Department of Dance for technique classes, lectures, lecture demonstrations and two concerts, October 20-26. Forces of Nature Dance Theater Company has been performing and teaching internationally for the past 22 years during which their diverse application of dance and culture has served as an artistic and educational model. During the residency, the company will also conduct workshops for Rochester and Buffalo performing arts high school students. The residency will conclude with two concert performances scheduled at 8 p.m. on October 24 and 25 in the Hartwell DANCE Theater, Utica Street.
