"Men of Brockport" calendar A project of the Sparkleberry Twig of the Lakeside Memorial Hospital offers the opportunity to meet the men of Brockport. The Sparkleberry Twig 2003 Calendar of Brockport's Finest features a photograph and brief bio of a local Brockport man for each month of the year, including one of Lakeside Memorial Hospital's own, Dr. Garth Laidlaw. "We originally started with over 40 candidates and it was a difficult task to select only 12 men. We wanted the calendar to represent men of all ages, talents and vocations," stated Barb Windus. Names have already been submitted in advance of a calendar for next year. Beth Greene contributed photography and Judy Kelly the graphic design. The calendar sells for $10 and proceeds benefit Lakeside Memorial Hospital. It is available in the Lakeside Memorial Hospital Twig Gift Shop, Country Treasures, Dunn's Home Furnishings, Lift Bridge Book Shop, Bittersweet or by calling Danielle Windus-Cook at 395-9574 or Barb Windus at 637-4375. |
