SUNY Brockport choreography students
will share their work
SUNY College at Brockport's graduate and undergraduate dance choreographers will share their new works with the public on November 7, 8 and 9 at 8 p.m. in the Hartwell Theater 152. The students' new works comprise the first student concert of the season.
The choreographers for this performance and dance season include Celine Coles, Patrick Earle, Lindsay Blodgett, Marissa Hallo, Oniel Pryce, Beth Hochuli and Elizabeth Schreier. Hallo's work entitled "Sohu" features a traditional score arranged by dance faculty musician and Sankofa master drummer Khalid Saleem, assisted by Ryan Schmitt. "Sohu" is a traditional dance from the Ewe people of Ghana.
Tickets are $7 for general admission and $5 for students and seniors, and are available at the Tower Fine Arts Box Office, 585-395-ARTS.
