H-P seniors to travel to Canada
The Hilton-Parma Seniors will travel to Hamilton, Ontario, Canada for the "100 Years of Christmas" program. Travel back over 100 years and experience an early settler's Christmas at the Battlefield House Museum, a Victorian Christmas at Dundurn Castle and an Edwardian Christmas at the Whitehern House. This trip will include a sit-down turkey dinner in the Carriage House. Also included will be a driving tour of the Festival of Lights and stop at the Niagara Parks Conservatory. There will be a moderate amount of walking required on this trip. It will also be mandatory that passengers carry proof of citizenship including a photo ID such as valid/expired passport, driver's license and birth certificate.
This trip will take place Friday, December 6 departing from the Village Community Center at 8 a.m. and returning at 8 p.m. Registration for this trip will take place on Thursday, November 7, in the Ingham Room of the Village Community Center. Doors open at 9:15 a.m. with a random drawing beginning promptly at 10 a.m.
