Eight Churchville-Chili senior students are named Commended Students in the 2003 National Merit Scholarship Program. They are Jenny Baker, Elizabeth Dombrowski, Matthew George, Kathleen Hastings, Kelly Jakubowski, Matthew Price, Kelli French and Jordan Hicks. The students placed among the top five percents of more than one million students who entered the 2003 competition. Each student was recognized by Susan Salvaggio, principal, and Interim Superintendent of Schools Dr. Larry Pedersen, and presented with a certificate of merit from the National Merit Scholarship Program. Two of these students, Kelli French and Jordan Hicks, are National Merit Scholarship Program semi-finalists and will continue on in the 2003 competition for Merit Scholarship Awards. |
