LMH's Tree of Lights honors people and events

Lakeside Memorial Hospital Twig Association will sponsor the 13th Tree of Lights during the holiday season. A permanent tree has been planted and will be decorated on the front lawn of the hospital.

A $5 donation per light will enable the purchaser to honor a special person or event while conjointly decorating the hospital grounds. Donors may purchase lights to celebrate a birth, in honor of a loved one, to honor someone serving in military service, or as a thoughtful gesture.

An acknowledgment card will be sent to those being recognized and will include the donor's name. Each honored person's name or event will be inscribed in a traditional Lights Book, which will be kept at the hospital.

The tree lighting ceremony will be held on Thursday, December 5 at 7 p.m. The program will include the lighting of the tree, caroling and refreshments in the Professional Building Lobby.

Donation forms are available at the Volunteer's Desk and The Twig Gift Shop. Leave these requests with cash or check at the Twig Gift Shop, addressed to Tree of Lights. Return all requests with cash or check prior to December 2, or call 637-6568 or 638-8426.
