Toy/blanket drive donations welcome

Through December 10, the MOMS (Mothers Offering Mothers Support) Club of Spencerport-Churchville is collecting new or gently used toys and blankets for donation to the Bethany House of Rochester, a shelter for homeless women and children which help to give them a new start in life.

Donations can be dropped off in boxes provided at the IGA in Spencerport and the Newman Riga Library in Churchville. An Open House will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church on Elmgrove Road on November 18 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. with a fire truck, mounted police and a Gates Crime Prevention officer on hand for a program. Donations can also be dropped off then.
