National President to visit American Legion Auxiliary

Members of the American Legion Auxiliary of Monroe County will welcome National President Elsie Bailey of New Jersey on her official visit to the area, Wednesday, November 20.

Welcoming Bailey will be County President Mary Kay Lennox and her officers and visitation chairman Delores Carpenter. The dinner will be at the Holiday Inn-Airport, 911 Brooks Avenue at 7 p.m.; cash bar 6 to 7 p.m.

Bailey's theme this year is America-Pure Gold. Her belief is that veterans have helped make this nation great and the American Legion Auxiliary has the opportunity to honor their service through their programs. All auxiliary members, legionnaires and SA1 members and friends are also welcome to attend.
