Monroe County Pomona Grange
donates to Children's Hospital
On Tuesday, November 12, eleven members of the Monroe County Pomona Grange along with the moral support from some Monroe County Subordinate Granges made a gift to the Golisano Children's Hospital of the Strong Memorial Hospital. The gifts, made by individual Grange members, were a hand knitted variety of baby and children's necessities. These gifts may be directed to the highest need as selected by the hospital. The gifts that were donated were 34 preemie sized afghans, 18 lap robes, 127 hats and three crib sized afghans. This is in the tradition of the Grange who endeavors to improve rural life and promotes Community Service. This particular project was under the direction of Cindy Muxworthy.
