Dahlman signs with Holy Cross
Nazareth Academy senior Meg Dahlman signed her letter of intent for Holy Cross University on Monday, November 18, in the Nazareth gym. It was a grand moment for Meg, who has broken all school records, for her parents who were in attendance, and her coach, Chris Belmont, who has coached her for the last five years. The bleachers were filled with faculty members and students who came to witness the signing and to wish her well. The 18th of November was Meg's birthday and in her honor, cake and beverages were served. The scholarship is valued at $36,000 per year. Dahlman is interested in an education degree with an emphasis on deaf studies. She will graduate in June from the Eastman stage with sequences in four subjects. She is a member of Campus Ministry and is on the Journalism staff. She and her family reside in Spencerport.
