Note cards offered as fundraiser for Max's Mardi Gras

Brockport area residents can combine Mardi Gras, Christmas, and philanthropy this year by using Max's Mardi Gras notecards s stocking stuffers or hostess gifts. Packs of ten cards sell for $5, of which $2.50 is tax deductible. The cards are illustrated with a miniature version of the original oil painting by local artist Helen Fabi Smagorinsky of the first Max's Mardi Gras parade. Proceeds from the sale of the cards benefit Camp Good Days and Happy Times, the Make-A-Wish Foundation, and the Cerebral Palsy Association, charities that serve children with life-threatening illnesses or severe disabilities.

Cards are available at the Lift Bridge Book Shop, Bittersweet, Downtown Kids, Arjuna Florist and Gifts, Tea for Two Antique Shop, Chase Bank, the Village Hall, and the Town Hall.
