Toddler activity at Strong Museum January 11
My Toddler and Me program at Strong Museum on Saturday, January 11, from 8 to 10 a.m. is designed especially for tiny tots ages 18 months to 3 years and their adult companions.
The morning's theme is "Baby, It's Cold Outside!" and includes indoor wintry activities designed especially for very young children. Participants will obtain a free activity sheet upon arrival and proceed at their own pace through Strong Museum's hands-on exhibits, open for exclusive use by toddlers.
Among the morning's highlights are building an indoor snowman; go on a snowflake hunt in the galleries; shiver and shake to music; create a snow fort from blocks; and make blizzard pictures.
Other My Toddler and Me early morning programs at Strong Museum throughout the year (all programs take place from 8 to 10 a.m.):
Saturday, February 22: Creatures and Critters - bring stuffed creatures and critters to play in the exhibits. Build a house for your critter, hear stories about little critters, follow critter tracks through the galleries, enjoy movement with music, and more.
Saturday, March 8: Birds of a Feather - feather fun crafts, play hide-and-go-peep, "fly" to music for baby birds, and go on a bird hunt in the Sesame Street exhibit.
Saturday, April 5: Spring Dance Party - toddler dance party with DJ Jim Kerins. Play in the exhibits, sing along, join in a toddler band, and design a dance hat.
