Amanda Fodge, a fifth grade student at Churchville-Chili Intermediate School was recognized by Principal John Bellini for her fire safety essay, "Team Up for Fire Safety." Amanda's essay placed eighth in the Monroe County Volunteer Fireman's Association fire prevention essay contest for grades 5-8. She received a plaque and a $25 cash award. 2,500 entries were submitted by students from Monroe County. |
